Description:Craighill Channel Rear Upper RangeLocated at Sparrows Point. Automated 1929. Owned and maintained by the USCG (Coast Guard Activities Baltimore). Eligible for listing on National Register of Historic Places.
Type of Structure:Cast Iron skeleton tower supporting a wooden tower.
Purpose:Marks cut-off channel between Craighill and Brewerton channels
Interesting Facts:Gates to rear light had to be moved when the land owner no longer granted keeper access across his land.
